It is the philosophy of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited that accidents and injuries are preventable and thus unacceptable in her operations. TRUNERGY TEKNIC SERVICES LIMITED shall therefore integrate safety practices into her business and will vigorously pursue all accident prevention programs through her structured and effective system called the CASHES POLICY SYSTEM.
Trunergy Teknic Services Limited’s activities will be organized, planned and executed in such a manner as stated below:
- We will protect and promote the health of our work force. We will also conduct our activities in such a way to prevent injuries to our work force and the public.
- We will also avoid injury to employees, vendors, sub-contractors and third parties.
- We will further ensure the personal security of the work force and third parties.
- We will minimize the impact on the environment in which we operate.
Every employee of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited shall perform his/her duties in accordance with laid down policies. All works must be suspended when it is believed that essential safety systems are not in place.
Management and Supervisors will be accountable for the safety of the employees working under their direct supervision and will be expected to organize and conduct operations in a safe manner at all times.
Employees must be reminded that they are responsible for their own safety and the safety of all others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. They are also expected to co-operate with all safety and regulatory bodies. Employees are also expected to adhere to the company’s in-house CASHES policies.
- Leakages, overflows or spillage of any sort, must be avoided at all costs.
- Any environmental mishap or pollution must be attended to immediately, reported and measures taken to forestall a future re-occurrence.
Our company will be sensitive to the needs and aspirations of the host communities where requisite levels of skill are available. Preference will be given to qualified residents of the immediate community in all matters of employment.

The protection of employees from injury or occupational disease is a continuing objective. We are committed to continuing improvement towards an accident free workplace through effective administration, education and training. All employees both supervisors and workers must be dedicated to the continuing objectives of eliminating “near misses” which will greatly reduce the risk of injuries.
Our philosophy is that the well-being of our Company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce. The directors and leadership of our company promise that every precaution reasonable in all circumstances will be taken for the protection of all workers. No job is to be regarded as so urgent that time cannot be taken to do it in a safe manner. The welfare of the individual is of utmost importance. Supervisors will be responsible for the health and safety of workers under their supervision.
Supervisors are responsible to ensure that machinery and equipment required for use by each worker are safe and that each worker works in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures for each piece of equipment. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect their health and safety.
All supervisors, employees, vendors and sub-contractors must protect their own and fellow workers’ health and safety by working in compliance with the occupational health and safety act and all applicable regulations and safe work practices and procedures established by our company.
We recognize that a safe work environment can be established and sustained only through a united effort by all employees, vendors and sub-contractors and that the assistance of each person is required. Your attitude and cooperation in promoting accident prevention will assist in achieving our goal: “Zero Injuries” and make our company the best place to work one where employees share in corporate growth and success. Trunergy Teknic Services Limited is committed to a safe, healthy, and productive workplace for all employees. The company recognizes that alcohol, drugs, and any substance abuse by employees will affect their ability to perform properly and will certainly have serious effects on the safety, efficiency and productivity of other employees and the company as a whole.
The misuse of legitimate drugs, or the use, possession, distribution, or sale of illicit or non-prescribed drugs on company facilities, including sites, yards and offices is strictly prohibited and is enough grounds for termination. Possession, use, distribution, or sale of alcoholic beverages on company facilities is not allowed without prior approval of appropriate senior management.
Being unfit to work because of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited and is enough grounds for termination of employment. While this policy refers specifically to alcohol and drugs, it intends to apply to all other forms of substance abuse.
The company recognizes alcohol and drug dependency as a treatable condition. Any employee who suspects that he/she has an alcohol or drug dependency problem is encouraged to seek medical advice and to follow appropriate treatment before it results in job performance problems. The company stands ready to assist and advise in securing permanent treatment.
No employee with alcohol or drug related problems would be terminated due to the request for help to overcome such problems or because of involvement in a rehabilitation effort. However, employees with substance abuse problems will not be allowed to work in certain positions identified by Trunergy Management as being critical to the safety and wellbeing of other employees, subcontractors, vendors and the public. Any employee returning from rehabilitation will be required to participate in a company approved aftercare programme. If an employee violates the provisions of the alcohol and drug use policy, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
Such action cannot be avoided by a request at that time for treatment and/or rehabilitation. If an employee suffering from alcohol or drug related problem refuses rehabilitation or fails to respond to treatment or fails to meet satisfactory standards of effective work performance, appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination, will be taken. This policy does not require and will not result in any special regulations, privileges, or exemptions from normal job performance requirements.
Trunergy Teknic Services Limited is committed to this policy and will conduct unscheduled searches for drugs and alcohol on company owned or controlled facilities. The company may also require that employees submit to medical evaluation or alcohol and drug testing when cause exists to suspect alcohol or drug use. Unscheduled periodic or random testing will be conducted on an employee where he/she:
- has had a substance abuse problem, or
- is working in a certain position identified by management or the regulatory laws as requiring testing, or
- Is occupying a specified Executive position which requires testing.
A positive test result, refusal to report substance abuse or refusal to submit to a drug or alcohol test is enough grounds for disciplinary action, including termination.
Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and third-party personnel will also be subject to all the requirements of this policy. Those who violate this policy will be removed from company facilities and will be denied further and future entry into the premises of the company.
It is a requirement of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited that all applicants accepting offers of regular employment must pass an alcohol, drug or substance abuse test.

The purpose of our security policy at Trunergy Teknic Services Limited is to ensure the protection of the Company’s physical and digital assets, sensitive information, and employees from potential security thefts.
Scope:
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, third party vendors and systems used by Trunergy Teknic Services Limited. It comprises our physical offices, warehouses, IT Infrastructure, and all data management processes across the company.
Objectives:

- Protecting physical assets such as equipment, machinery, and materials from theft, damage, or unauthorised-access.

Despite being the last resort of protection on projects, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) can be of vital importance. Many hazards that exist on projects require the use of PPE to limit exposure. In many cases, PPE is to be used as a backup system of control.
In order to ensure that workers are protected from hazards, where possible, it is a policy of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited that all personnel on company facilities must wear the appropriate PPE.

Any situation in which an ongoing sequence of events can cause a potential injury is called a nearmiss.
The purposes of collecting and analyzing nearmiss information are:

Any personnel experiencing a near-miss should report to their immediate supervisor or any safety personnel for timely correction.

It is our policy to comply with the Nigeria Content Development Policy directives of the Federal Government of Nigeria on Local Content, Materials and Manpower supply from Nigeria and to make use of services and facilities, professional and technical which are rendered by Nigerians or companies Incorporated in Nigeria, except where such services/facilities are not available in Nigeria. We shall do the following in support of the Nigeria Content Development Policy:
- We shall comply fully with the Nigerian content policy. We shall domicile all engineering activities in Country as well as location of the Project Management Team (PMT) and Project Procurement Centre (PPC) in-Country and also carry-out the in-country maintenance of equipment and tools.
- We shall show commitment in meeting with the Nigerian Content targets of the Federal Government of Nigeria by achieving a minimum of 80% Nigerian Content, in terms of total monetary expenditures through the deliberate utilization of Nigerian human and material resources without sacrificing safety, health and environmental standards.
- We shall show commitment by deliberate addition or creation of value in-country via capacity building and training of Nigerian Manpower, technology transfer programmes, Technology mentorship programme, increasing physical operational presence and investment in Nigeria, creating opportunities in human resources, development of Nigerian Manpower (Professional and Technical), Nigerian Contractors, Nigerian Suppliers, and implementing various innovations that will increase Nigerian Content Development in Nigeria.

The company recognizes that alcohol, drugs, and any substance abuse by employees will affect their ability to perform properly and will certainly have serious effects on the safety, efficiency and productivity of other employees and the company as a whole.
The misuse of legitimate drugs, or the use, possession, distribution, or sale of illicit or non-prescribed drugs on company facilities, including sites, yards and offices is strictly prohibited and is enough grounds for termination. Possession, use, distribution, or sale of alcoholic beverages on company facilities is not allowed without prior approval of appropriate senior management.
Being unfit to work because of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited and is enough grounds for termination of employment. While this policy refers specifically to alcohol and drugs, it intends to apply to all other forms of substance abuse.
The company recognizes alcohol and drug dependency as a treatable condition. Any employee who suspects that he/she has an alcohol or drug dependency problem is encouraged to seek medical advice and to follow appropriate treatment before it results in job performance problems. The company stands ready to assist and advise in securing permanent treatment.
No employee with alcohol or drug related problems would be terminated due to the request for help to overcome such problems or because of involvement in a rehabilitation effort. However, employees with substance abuse problems will not be allowed to work in certain positions identified by Trunergy Management as being critical to the safety and wellbeing of other employees, subcontractors, vendors and the public. Any employee returning from rehabilitation will be required to participate in a company approved aftercare programme. If an employee violates the provisions of the alcohol and drug use policy, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
Such action cannot be avoided by a request at that time for treatment and/or rehabilitation. If an employee suffering from alcohol or drug related problem refuses rehabilitation or fails to respond to treatment or fails to meet satisfactory standards of effective work performance, appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination, will be taken. This policy does not require and will not result in any special regulations, privileges, or exemptions from normal job performance requirements.
Trunergy Teknic Services Limited is committed to this policy and will conduct unscheduled searches for drugs and alcohol on company owned or controlled facilities. The company may also require that employees submit to medical evaluation or alcohol and drug testing when cause exists to suspect alcohol or drug use. Unscheduled periodic or random testing will be conducted on an employee where he/she:
- has had a substance abuse problem, or
- is working in a certain position identified by management or the regulatory laws as requiring testing, or
- Is occupying a specified Executive position which requires testing.
A positive test result, refusal to report substance abuse or refusal to submit to a drug or alcohol test is enough grounds for disciplinary action, including termination.
Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and third-party personnel will also be subject to all the requirements of this policy. Those who violate this policy will be removed from company facilities and will be denied further and future entry into the premises of the company.
It is a requirement of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited that all applicants accepting offers of regular employment must pass an alcohol, drug or substance abuse test.

The Management of Trunergy Teknic Services Limited is committed to the health and safety of its employees and third parties. Protection of employees from injury or occupational disease is a continuing objective. We are committed to continuing improvement towards an accident-free workplace through effective administration, education and training. All employees, both supervisors and workers must be dedicated to the continuing objectives of eliminating “near misses” which will greatly reduce the risk of injuries.
Our philosophy is that the well-being of our company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce. Thus, we promise that every precaution reasonable in all circumstances will be taken for the protection of all workers, as “The welfare of the individual is of utmost importance”.
Supervisors will be responsible for the health and safety of workers under their direct supervision. They will also ensure that machinery, equipment required for use by each worker is safe, and that each worker works in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures for each piece of equipment.
